What is speech recognition?
Speech recognition, also known as speech-to-text, refers to computers having the ability to interpret human speech (verbal format) and transcribe it into text (written format). Speech recognition programs utilize artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to analyze grammar, syntax, structure and composition of speech to process what is being said.
